Before You Call — the Fast Answers

The three most common calls, answered here: we are a connection service, not a lender; requests match as soft inquiries that don't affect your score; and questions about an active loan go to your lender's servicer, whose number is on your agreement.

That third one matters: once you've signed with a lender, payment dates, payoff quotes, hardship options, and account questions belong to that lender's servicing team — they hold your account and can actually change things, and calling them early is the single best move in any wobbly month.
